Lighting control

Intelligent Lighting
Control

Traditional street lighting generates high costs, delays fault response, and does not adapt to dynamic city life. URBAN changes this, transforming lighting networks into an intelligent, cost-efficient, and automated ecosystem.

Modern streetlight in the city at dusk

Save energy
and reduce costs by up to 70%

Stop paying for light no one needs. URBAN gives you tools for intelligent energy management, delivering real savings in the city budget.

Adaptive luminaire control

With dedicated controllers, you can remotely control lighting levels (dim and brighten) for a single luminaire or an entire group. Automatically adapt light intensity to time of day, traffic level, and weather conditions.

Control from the electrical cabinet level

Remotely switch entire electrical circuits on and off. URBAN records and monitors key electrical parameters (e.g., energy use, voltage, current) for each circuit, ensuring full control and optimization.

Advanced schedules

Build precise lighting scenarios for individual luminaires, streets, or entire districts.

Cost analytics

Monitor energy consumption in real time, generate detailed reports, and make data-driven decisions.

EXPERIENCE

Global project delivery experience

Increase resident safety and comfort

Strengthen safety and improve quality of life in public spaces. URBAN delivers optimal lighting in every situation.

Dynamic lighting profiles

Ensure ideal lighting in every situation. You can prepare and program dedicated lighting profiles tailored to different needs, from optimization by season, weekday, and specific dates (e.g., holidays and days off), to unique scenarios for special events (concerts, festivals, fairs). URBAN will autonomously activate the right profile at the right time. In emergency, service, or other urgent situations, you can also take manual control and instantly adjust lighting in selected areas to ensure optimal visibility and safety.

Continuous reliability and fast fault resolution

URBAN continuously monitors the status of every luminaire. Automatic notifications and alarms about detected faults enable proactive management. This helps you locate and eliminate dark spots on the city map much faster, ensuring continuity and safety of lighting.

Automate maintenance and service

Stop driving around the city looking for failed lamps. URBAN detects issues before residents report them and streamlines the entire repair process.

24/7 monitoring

Receive automatic alerts for every failure and network irregularity.

Intelligent service

With task management (ticketing) integration, the system lets you create service orders and assign them to the right people or teams, optimizing their work.

Mobile center
for lighting control

Manage, diagnose, and respond from anywhere with the URBAN mobile app. This is not just a simplified version of the system, it is a powerful specialist tool that gives field managers and technicians full control over the lighting network.

Questions and answers

The system enables precise control of each individual lamp (luminaire) or entire groups of lamps (e.g., a selected street). You can remotely turn lights on/off or adjust brightness from anywhere.
A schedule lets you create a lighting plan for the night and use that plan within a defined period. You can set different brightness levels depending on the time of night (e.g., 100% until 23:00, 50% until 04:00), day of the week (different on weekends), or special dates in the calendar (e.g., holidays), or use one plan all year.
Yes. The system automatically calculates sunrise and sunset times for a given geographic location throughout the year. This means lighting turns on exactly when needed, eliminating energy waste. You can also apply a correction based on a dusk sensor measurement.
An operator can change the schedule for a selected area with one click. If there is a concert on the main square, you can manually set 100% lighting for the duration and the safe dispersal of attendees, regardless of the standard energy-saving schedule.
In crisis situations (e.g., searches, evacuation), the system enables immediate remote switching of all lights to maximum power in a defined area, providing support for emergency services.
Thanks to integration with sensors (e.g., motion), the system can react dynamically to the situation. For example, lighting at a pedestrian crossing can automatically brighten when a pedestrian approaches, or lights on a bike path can brighten only ahead of a cyclist (responsive lighting).
The system automatically detects and reports faults (e.g., power supply failure, voltage drop) in real time, providing an exact location. This removes the need for costly night patrols and inspections and enables fast, targeted service response.
Yes. This is one of the key benefits. Urban monitors electrical parameters of each luminaire. If a lamp fails, the system automatically generates an alert and shows its exact location on the map.
The system is most effective with modern LED luminaires because they offer the greatest dimming capabilities. It is also possible to control older lamps (e.g., sodium), but usually at the level of the entire power cabinet (group on/off).
No, the system is open. Our controllers are designed to work with luminaires from various manufacturers. The most important thing is that the luminaire has a standard socket such as NEMA (7-pin) or Zhaga (Book 18), and an LED driver compatible with control standards such as DALI, DALI2, D4i, or 1-10V.
